1. INTRODUCTION

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") governs the collection, use, and disclosure of information in connection with the mobile application known as Balochi Names (the "Application" or "App"), owned and operated by the developer of Balochi Names ("the Developer," "we," "us," or "our").

This Policy is intended to inform users ("you" or "the User") of the Application's data practices. By downloading, installing, or otherwise using the Application, the User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms of this Policy. Users who do not agree with the terms set forth herein should discontinue use of the Application.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLICATION

Balochi Names is a complimentary, advertising-supported application that provides users with access to the following features:

(a) A curated repository of Balochi male and female given names, together with their associated meanings;

(b) A search function permitting queries in both the English and Balochi scripts;

(c) A "Favorites" function permitting users to bookmark selected names for future reference;

(d) A name-suggestion function permitting users to submit candidate names for editorial review; and

(e) A public listing of names contributed by the user community and subsequently approved by the Developer.

The Application is intended for use by expectant parents, guardians, and other individuals seeking a Balochi given name for a child.

3. INFORMATION COLLECTED

3.1 Categories of Information Not Collected

The Developer does not collect, solicit, store, or otherwise process any of the following categories of information:

(a) Legal name, email address, telephone number, or other means of personal identification;

(b) Account credentials, as the Application does not require registration or authentication;

(c) Payment card numbers, banking details, or other financial information;

(d) Precise geolocation or Global Positioning System (GPS) data;

(e) Access to the device camera, microphone, or contact list; or

(f) Biometric identifiers of any nature.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

In the course of operating the Application, the Developer and its third-party service providers may automatically collect certain limited, non-personally-identifiable technical information, including, without limitation:

(a) Device manufacturer, model, and operating system version;

(b) Application version number and diagnostic crash data, collected via Google Firebase;

(c) The advertising identifier associated with the User's device (the "Android Advertising ID"), together with advertisement interaction data such as impressions and click-through activity, collected via Google AdMob;

(d) An approximate geographic location derived from the User's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, utilized exclusively by Google AdMob for the purpose of general advertisement relevance, and not independently collected, accessed, or retained by the Developer; and

(e) A randomly generated, non-identifying device or installation identifier, utilized solely to associate a User's Favorites and name submissions with their device within the Firebase Realtime Database.

The foregoing information is collected and retained in aggregated form and does not, by itself, identify any individual User.

3.3 Data Associated with Application Functionality

(a) Names designated by a User as a "Favorite" are recorded within the Firebase Realtime Database in association with the anonymous device identifier referenced in Section 3.2(e), for the sole purpose of preserving such designations across sessions.

(b) Names submitted through the "Suggest a Name" function, together with the gender category selected by the User, are recorded within the Firebase Realtime Database and remain in a pending status until reviewed by the Developer prior to any public disclosure.

(c) The Developer does not request, and does not record, the User's legal name, email address, or any other personally identifying information in connection with a name submission.

4. PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTION AND USE

Information collected pursuant to Section 3 is utilized solely for the following purposes:

(a) To preserve and display the User's designated Favorite names across sessions of use;

(b) To receive, review, and, where appropriate, publish names submitted by the user community;

(c) To display advertisements served through Google AdMob, in support of the Application's continued availability at no monetary cost to the User;

(d) To monitor, diagnose, and remediate technical faults affecting the performance or stability of the Application;

(e) To evaluate general patterns of usage for the purpose of improving the Application's content and functionality; and

(f) To satisfy applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

The Developer does not sell, license, rent, or otherwise disclose the User's information to third parties for the purpose of independent marketing by such third parties.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

The Application incorporates certain third-party services, each of which is governed by its own respective privacy policy and data-handling practices, independent of the Developer.

5.1 Google AdMob

The Application utilizes Google AdMob for the display of banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID, and related usage data for the purpose of serving personalized or non-personalized advertisements.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising via: Device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt Out of Ads Personalization.

5.2 Google Firebase

The Application utilizes Google Firebase Realtime Database for the storage of name records, Favorites data, and community-submitted name suggestions, and may additionally utilize Firebase for the purposes of usage analytics and crash reporting.

6. ADVERTISING DISCLOSURES

Balochi Names is offered to the public free of charge and is financed through advertising revenue. The Application displays the following categories of advertisement:

(a) Banner Advertisements, displayed on the Home, Boy Names, Girl Names, Favorites, and Suggested Names screens; and

(b) Interstitial Advertisements, displayed as full-screen advertisements on an intermittent basis while browsing the Boy Names or Girl Names categories, or following the submission of a name suggestion. Such advertisements are not displayed on every interaction, but at defined intervals.

Advertisements are served through Google AdMob, which may employ cookies, device identifiers, and approximate location data derived from IP address for the purpose of advertisement targeting. The Developer exercises no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the specific content of advertisements delivered through this network.

Users located within the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom will be presented with a consent mechanism prior to the delivery of any personalized advertisement, in accordance with Google's EU User Consent Policy. Such consent may be modified at any subsequent time through the Application's settings.

Users may additionally opt out of interest-based advertising by the following means:

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Balochi Names is designed and intended for use by parents, guardians, and adults engaged in the selection of a given name for a child, and is not directed to or intended for independent use by children. The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from any individual, including children under the age of thirteen (13) years.

(a) The Application does not require registration or account creation of any kind;

(b) No personally identifying information is collected from, or maintained in respect of, any User, irrespective of age; and

(c) Should the Developer become aware that a child has provided personal information in connection with the Application, the Developer will take reasonable steps to remove such information upon notification at the contact address provided in Section 14.

The Developer intends to comply with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and the Google Play Families Policy, as applicable.

8. USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT

The Application permits Users to submit proposed names through the "Suggest a Name" function, subject to the following terms:

(a) By submitting a name, the User represents that the submission does not contain offensive, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate content;

(b) All submissions are subject to manual review by the Developer prior to inclusion in the public "Suggested Names" listing;

(c) The Developer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject, modify, or remove any submission; and

(d) Submissions are recorded on an anonymous basis and are not associated with any personally identifying information.

9. DATA SECURITY

The Developer has implemented the following measures in furtherance of data security:

(a) All communications between the Application and Firebase servers are encrypted via the Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS);

(b) No personally identifying information (including legal name, email address, or telephone number) is collected or retained on the Developer's servers; and

(c) Favorites and name suggestions are associated exclusively with an anonymous device identifier and are not linked to the User's identity.

Notwithstanding the foregoing measures, the Developer cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information transmitted or stored electronically, and no method of transmission or storage can be warranted as entirely secure.

10. DATA RETENTION

As the Developer does not collect personally identifying information, there exists no personal data subject to retention or deletion on the part of the Developer.

(a) Favorites data is retained in association with the User's anonymous device identifier until removed by the User within the Application or until the Application is uninstalled; and

(b) Name suggestions are retained indefinitely as part of the community name repository, unless removal is specifically requested.

11. USER RIGHTS

Depending on the User's jurisdiction of residence, the User may be entitled to certain rights with respect to information held in connection with the Application, including:

(a) The right of access to information held;

(b) The right to request deletion of such information;

(c) The right to opt out of personalized advertising; and

(d) The right to be free from discriminatory treatment on account of the exercise of any of the foregoing rights.

As the Developer does not collect or retain personally identifying information, the substance of these rights is, in most respects, satisfied as a matter of course. Users seeking to exercise advertising opt-out rights should refer to Section 6 above.

Users located within the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or the State of California may be entitled to additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") or the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), respectively. Such Users may direct inquiries to the contact information provided in Section 14.

12. APPLICATION PERMISSIONS

The Application requests the following device permissions, for the purposes indicated:

The Application does not request access to the device camera, microphone, contact list, precise location, or external storage, nor any other permission of a sensitive nature.

13. AMENDMENT OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY

The Developer reserves the right to amend this Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes in data practices, Application functionality, or applicable legal requirements. In the event of any amendment:

(a) The "Last Updated" date set forth above will be revised accordingly;

(b) Users will be notified of material amendments by means of an in-application notice; and

(c) Continued use of the Application following the posting of any amendment shall constitute the User's acceptance of the amended Policy.

Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically in order to remain informed as to the manner in which their information is protected.
